What's new

Lead Workflow

Lead stage and lead status are now two different concepts. Stages reflect the phase of the lead - Identification, Pre-CDA Review, Accepted - whereas statuses reflect the state of the lead - Active, On-Hold, Declined, or Closed. It’s now possible to have a declined lead in Identification or an on-hold lead in Pre-CDA Review.

Read the dedicated article on our help center: Workflow connected to Inova Classic / Inova Next Generation Stand-Alone Workflow.

  • Lead Stage: You can now manage lead stages via a dedicated workflow ribbon at the top of the lead overview.
For now, the two first stages of the partnering life cycle are available: Identification and Pre-CDA Review. The additional Accepted stage is to be used once the lead is closed, and will redirect you to Inova Classic (formerly Inova Partnering Platform) to create on opportunity from this lead.

  • Lead Status: A new status chip now allows control of the status of a lead, in parallel with the lead stage. There are four statuses available: Active, On-Hold, Declined or Closed.

  • We've added two new columns in the list of all leads where you can see the stage and the status of each lead. You can now filter the leads depending on both their stage or status, via the filtering panel, and quickly change the status of any lead.

  • We've enhanced the lead import feature to support this new system of stages and statuses.

Lead Types

You can now create dedicated briefs for Consumer Health Asset and Organization leads.

The purpose of Consumer Health Asset leads is similar to Pharma Asset leads or Technology leads: you're looking for assets to in-license. On the contrary, Organization leads are aimed at out-licensing, investment, landscaping, or acquisition projects.

For instance, for out-licensing projects, the asset to be out-licensed can be described in brief, as well as the type of partnering organization to focus on. Each lead in this brief will then represent a specific organization that could be interested in this asset and might become a future partner.

Priority and Confidence Lead Fields

You can now define a priority and a confidence level for each lead. Default values are provided - Very Low, Low, Medium, High, Very High - but can be configured differently on the platform settings page.

Meetings

You can now add meeting records to a Lead, a Company, or a Contact overview. You can create meeting records from there or directly from the homepage.

Read the dedicated article on our help center.

The feature allows you to:

  • Write notes using the rich-text editor, mention fellow users, and attach documents or emails to the meeting.

  • Add a list of attendees to the meeting and make it private, whereby only the user attendees will be able to see the meeting and its details.

What's enhanced

Contacts

  • You can now import a list of contacts to create several contacts at the same time and directly link them to existing leads.

  • In the lead overview, when linking a contact to the lead, you can now see the contact’s name and company together in the suggested list.

Document Attachments

You can now rename any document attached to a lead or elsewhere in the platform.

Custom dashboards

You can now see the status of the leads in the progression bar - Active, On-Hold, Declined, or Closed.

What's fixed

We fixed inconsistent behaviors when using the browser back button.
