Deal Outlook add-in update - Meeting push now available
Version 1.0.0.1
What's new
Push Outlook meetings to Inpart Deal - Now live
You can now push calendar meetings from Outlook directly into Inpart Deal, just like you already do with emails. No new workflows needed: open a meeting in Outlook, and push it to Deal with a click.
Meetings pushed from Outlook will automatically appear in Deal:
In the Meetings tab of the linked company or opportunity.
In the centralized meeting hub for easy access.
No installation should be required; the Outlook add-in updates automatically. However, please note that, depending on your IT configuration, you may need to reinstall the add-in to receive the update.
Highlights of this release:
Push Outlook meetings to Deal: Push key meeting info - title, date/time, attendees, invitation content (as notes), and attachments directly from your Outlook calendar.
Smart pre-fill and context: The add-in detects external attendees based on their email addresses and suggests matching companies, pre-filling meeting details so you can push in seconds.
Meeting updates detected: If a pushed meeting is later changed in Outlook (e.g., new time, location, or attendees), the add-in will highlight the update and let you re-push the latest version to keep Deal up to date.
Contact recognition: Automatically link attendees to existing contacts or create new ones on the fly.
Opportunity linking: Associate the meeting with an existing opportunity under a company or create a new opportunity.
Duplicate protection: The system flags already pushed meetings and prevents accidental duplication.
Limitations: Personal calendar items (e.g., reminders or solo appointments) are not supported. Support for internal contacts (contacts from your organization) is coming soon.
