Link companies together

Link a company profile to another one to always have a comprehensive understanding of their relationship. These relationships can be customized in the Administration page by Business Admins. For instance, you can link a venture company to the portfolio companies, link parent and subsidiary companies, or link consulting firm with their biotech client.

Ensure better data quality with restrictions on adding new values

Users with Business Admin rights can now define from the Deal Administration page the category of users who can add values to standard drop down fields in the platform. These allowed users are either Managers, or Managers with Business Admin rights. A further improvement will also allow restriction on custom fields accessible to customers with the Advanced Package.


Delete campaigns containing opportunities

To clean up your campaign page, you can delete campaigns (Connect campaigns, and internal campaigns) even when they contain existing opportunities. These opportunities will remain on Deal, but their Source and Source name fields will be cleared up from the campaign name.


Track more events in the activity stream

  • When you link two companies together, the event is added to the activity stream of both companies.

  • When you change the opportunity status to On-hold or Decline, the reason for the status change is added in the activity stream of the opportunity.


Access four new additional fields to better manage opportunities (Advanced Package only)

  • Project Next Steps, in the Project Management section of the Details tab of opportunities. This field highlights key next steps in the project. You can add dates for reference.

  • Financial Year, in the Internal Organization section of the Details tab of opportunities. This field indicates the financial year the opportunity is tied to.

  • Assessment score and Scientific confidence, in the Technology Assessment section of the Details tab of opportunities. This field indicates the overall assessment score of the technology and the degree of confidence in the asset.

These fields need to be enabled from the Deal Administration page by your CSM.


Territory details and Therapeutic area details fields

The Territory details and Therapeutic area details fields become standard opportunity fields. Territories details is now displayed next to Territories on the Overview tab, Opportunity overview section of the opportunity page. And Therapeutic area details is now displayed next to the Therapeutic areas field on the Asset tab, Pharma asset section (only for Pharma Asset opportunities), of the opportunity page.


Create and manage tasks more efficiently

We improved the display and functionalities of tasks to offer a more efficient way of creating, editing, and deleting them.

What's fixed

Users with a Contributor role can no longer create meetings.
