Version 3.56.0
What's new
[Beta] Search faster and smarter with the new Advanced Search.
Enter keywords or full sentences, and let the search dig through all text fields, text attachments (including emails, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, TXT, HTML, and RTF files), meeting notes, and tags to find matching elements.
View results sorted by relevance, so the most useful information shows up first.
Beta features are made to try new features and send feedback before their official release. Please contact your CSM at Inpart if you wish to enable the beta mode on your Deal platform and try these features.
Set a default opportunity type for each initiative
Today, an initiative has one preselected asset type (pharma asset, technology, consumer health asset, or organization), whereas opportunities under this initiative can be related to different opportunity types (e.g., in-licensing, investment, fundraising). It means that every time you need to add an opportunity to this initiative, you have to select the desired opportunity type to apply.
To save you time and streamline your opportunity creation routine, we implemented a way to set up a default opportunity type for each initiative. This way, when the initiative regroups opportunities related to a unique opportunity type, the opportunity type is automatically selected every time during the opportunity creation.
[Beta] Autofill fields from the agreement PDF when creating an obligation.
Automatically populate starred obligation and milestone fields by simply highlighting relevant text in the agreement PDF on the left, making it faster and easier to create your obligation.
Beta features are made to try new features and send feedback before their official release. Please contact your CSM at Inpart if you wish to enable the beta mode on your Deal platform and try these features.
Track company creation date and creator more accurately
We added two new fields to company profiles: Creation date and Created by. These fields reflect the real creation date of a company, not the date it was migrated into the system. These new fields are now visible in company lists, activity streams, and exports.
For existing companies and companies created manually in Deal after this release, the fields will be automatically populated with the creation dates in Deal.
For migrated companies, there will be a field in the migration process that allows these fields to be populated in Deal to keep track of the historical creation date and creator name.
Stay tuned! Opportunities and agreements will follow the same logic in upcoming releases.
What's enhanced
Rename the "Closed" status of opportunities with your own terminology
Rename the opportunity's "Closed" status to match your internal terminology and ensure alignment with your organization process.
For example, change "Closed" to "Signed" or any label that better reflects your team's process. Please contact your CSM at Inpart if you want to change your status name.
Enjoy cleaner list views with more space for your data
The design of list page headers has been compacted to allow more clarity and give space to the actual information that matters to you. This new layout applies to the opportunity, agreement, company, and meeting list pages.
The views navigation bar has been replaced with a more condensed drop-down view selector.
The quick filters have been regrouped with the rest of the filters under a new Filter button.
The search bar, column settings, Export, and Create buttons have been regrouped to take less space in the page header.
View meetings sorted by most recent date first
Meetings are now sorted by date (descending) by default, instead of meeting title, so that you can find your latest meetings faster. This way, you can stay focused on what’s new and relevant without extra clicks.
Display Territory information in one-pagers
Display the Territory field directly in your templated PPTX, DOCX, and XLSX one-page reports to keep stakeholders informed and aligned.
