What's new

Enhance contact management for your organization with users mapped as internal contacts

Each Deal user now has a dedicated internal contact, reducing duplicates and enhancing clarity in opportunities and agreements. All existing users have been added to the Internal contacts list with a User label next to their name. Additionally, new tagging features and improved email display make organizing, searching, and managing your contacts easier.

The user mapping functionality on the Administration page has been improved so that when internal contacts (non-users) are mapped to users, all associated items—such as opportunities, meetings, and agreements—will be transferred to the designated user, allowing them to manage these activities directly from their contact page.

[Beta] Track non-financial and royalty obligations

In addition to financial obligations, you can now track two new obligation categories: royalties and non-financial obligations.

Consequently, new default types of obligations are available under these new categories, such as Royalties, Meeting, Reports, Other, and can be customized to fit your needs and processes. You can also manually add new obligation types from the administration page.

[General release for all users] Add contacts to agreements

You can now use the Contacts tab to link internal and external contacts to agreements, define their roles, and track responsibilities for improved accountability and collaboration.

What's enhanced

Search contacts more efficiently

The contact search feature has been enhanced to include contact notes, emails, and preferred names. Relevant columns are now searchable, with matching terms conveniently highlighted for improved visibility.


Attachment drag-and-drop made more obvious

We added a tooltip message under the attachments section to make the drag-and-drop functionality more obvious, even when attachments are already present, ensuring you are aware that you can easily add more files.


Other improvements

The Initiative Group Field is now available in the opportunity Excel export.
